Sacristans serve behind the scenes to help prepare for the celebration of the liturgy. Their careful attention to detail ensures that everything needed for Mass is ready, allowing the clergy and liturgical ministers to focus on worship.

Responsibilities may include preparing the altar and sacred vessels, setting out the liturgical books, coordinating with ministers before Mass, and helping care for the sanctuary after the liturgy. This quiet but essential ministry supports the prayerful celebration of every Mass.

Sacristans are needed at all four of our parish locations, and training is provided for new volunteers.
