Join YCP Seattle and Portland for a fun Oktoberfest weekend in beautiful Mt. Angel, OR. Enjoy Bavarian culture, live music, local food and drink, and the grounds of Mt. Angel Abbey. A limited number of shuttle seats from Portland to Mt. Angel are available for Saturday, with an optional guided Abbey tour for YCP members. Sunday, September 27, after the 5:00 pm Mass in Assumption Parish Hall, parishioner Mary Fontana will discuss her recent book, Strangers in the Province of Joy: Practicing Radical Hospitality at the Border. Mary will share about the ministry of Annunciation House in El Paso, welcoming asylum seekers. Stay after Mass to be nourished and informed! 6:30 - 8 pm, Refreshments will be served.
