Shannon Wilson has lived in many places throughout her life, growing up in both California and Kentucky before attending the University of Notre Dame. It was at Notre Dame that she deepened her Catholic faith, learning that being Catholic extends far beyond Sunday Mass and is a way of life. During her time there, she also met her husband, Rob, with whom she has shared 16 years of marriage. Their journey together has taken them to South Carolina, New Hampshire, and finally Washington, where they put down roots in 2016. They are proud parents of three daughters, ages 8 to 14, who attend Seattle Public Schools.
Professionally, Shannon has spent the past 14 years at Amazon as a people leader, where she lives her faith through a people-centered approach to leadership. She has guided teams across Customer Service and Human Resources, focusing on leadership development and learning programs that foster cultures of dignity, respect, and fairness. Shannon has a gift for uniting diverse teams and cultivating international talent, a skill she sees reflected in the journey of bringing parish communities together as one.
At St. Catherine, Shannon has been an active parishioner since 2016. She has served as a Eucharistic Minister, leading the ministry since 2021, and has also been a sacristan since 2017. During the pandemic, she stepped into video production as part of a two-person crew to make Mass accessible online. Beyond liturgical service, she participates in Bible study, volunteers at coffee hour, and supports parish events. Outside of parish life, Shannon coaches youth basketball, and her family enjoys giving back to the community by serving their neighbors at North Helpline in Lake City.
