Ilaria grew up at St. Bridget’s—her mother’s family, the Hares, were founding members. She attended Assumption-St. Bridget (ASB) School, Holy Names Academy, and earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Gonzaga University (though, embarrassingly, she never attended a basketball game). After graduating, she returned to Seattle and took over her father’s business, Flooring America.
Ilaria is married and has three children who currently attend ASB School. She and her family are actively involved in church life, including altar serving, eucharistic ministering, lecturing, and maintaining the church décor and environment (flowers and holiday decorations).
She has served on the Pastoral Council since 2018 and on the ASB School Commission from 2021 until joining the PFAC in 2025. In what little free time she has, Ilaria enjoys cooking, skiing, and spending time with her extended family. She is deeply committed to carrying forward the vibrancy and legacy of St. Bridget’s into the future of the Catholic Church in Northeast Seattle—for her children and generations to come.
