On Saturday, August 2, ten enthusiastic hikers gathered for our very first group outing at the beautiful Discovery Park. It was a wonderful morning of connection, fresh air, and breathtaking views. As we walked the trails together, new friendships began to form and conversations flowed easily. We concluded our hike with a heartfelt prayer of thanksgiving, grateful for the gift of community and God’s creation. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure—stay tuned! The Homebound Ministry at our NE Catholic parish family currently has 17 volunteers who regularly bring the Holy Eucharist and provide companionship to 59 parishioners at 15 different locations.
